10/28/20: Recent trail improvements & website launched!

Lots of work recently! We're lucky to have a solid crew of volunteers, diggers and riders clocked in for the greater good. Johnny has been holding it down helping to set the chill vibe and strong work ethic. The current crew gets along, cooperates together and heckles without restraint - as Pepper would want it. We are trying to build upon the amazing work of those before us and solidify Tejano's future. BMX Trails are always a huge volunteer group effort, cooperation is key.

In the past few months we have:

Installed 3 park benches + Pepper Goertz Memorial plaque
Installed proper informational signage for safety and awareness
Hauled off 3 trailers of trash
Created a new "locals" chill spot in the foundation of a very old building
Worked on trail safety
Installed 2 flower beds/gardens for landscaping beautification
Made progress on finishing Pepper's "KESSEL RUN" line
Completed a new option off Blue's Line
Completed another roller line for the kids called "Linea de Abuelita" aka Grandma's line
Launched this website and a Petition for Preservation
Created a sick Tejano BMX Trails logo thanks to Sean Paul Designs! Shirts, stickers and schwag available soon at www.empirebmx.com
